I asked acer support team to update their drivers but considering that it is from december 2009 and so far nothing else has being made about it I don't think they are going to do anything about it. However, I can see it's not the same as acer's drivers, even considering it is old.

Just for a note, I got the OEM's driver and once I got it installed, the display adapter was named 'AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD4200' after that, I got it updated: I downloaded and installed the official and latest ATI's Catalyst Mobility version 10.5 and as a result the display adapter is now called ATI Mobility Radeon HD4200.
